AbstractThe recent developments of fractal geometries allow the description of various deterministic 3D and multiscale lacunar structures, namely by better controlling these geometries. The technological advance of additive manufacturing already demonstrated the achievement of complex geometries that could not be so far accessed. The fabrication of fractal structures by using additive manufacturing is investigated in this project. Once the product was manufactured, its integrity when subjected to thermo-mechanical load has to be assessed. The examinations of the initial and the deformed geometries (for a selected loading) by using 3D imaging (namely tomograhy technique) will be carried out so as to feed the theory and the numerical simulations.
ProfileEngineer and / or Master of Science - Good level of general and scientific culture. Good level of knowledge of French (B2 level in french is required) and English. (B2 level in english is required) Good analytical, synthesis, innovation and communication skills. Qualities of adaptability and creativity. Teaching skills. Motivation for research activity.
