AbstractThe framework of this PhD thesis is the numerical simulation of the behavior of nuclear fuels in the Pressurized Water Reactor (PWR). In order to accelerate the computational time of ALCYONE simulations, reduced order models have been developped for the simulation of the fuel rod mechanical behaviour. The Hybrid Hyper-Reduction method developed in the framework of J. Fauque's thesis, must be extended to the problems involving sliding contact conditions. Strong non-linearities will have to be taken into account in the selection of reduced bases adapted to the configuration under analysis.
ProfileEngineer and / or Master of Science - Good level of general and scientific culture. Good level of knowledge of French (B2 level in french is required) and English. (B2 level in english is required) Good analytical, synthesis, innovation and communication skills. Qualities of adaptability and creativity. Teaching skills. Motivation for research activity. Coherent professional project.
