AbstractThe research project aims at improving the current understanding of the relationship between the thermal history, phase transformations, the resulting microstructure and the viscoplastic constitutive behavior of a zirconium based alloy. It involves a strong experimental component as well as knowledge capitalization into analytical and numerical, metallurgical and mechanical models.
ProfileEngineer and / or Master of Science - Good level of general and scientific culture.
Good level of knowledge of French (B2 level in French is required) and English. (B2 level in Eenglish is required)
Good analytical, synthesis, innovation and communication skills. Qualities of adaptability and creativity.
Teaching skills. Motivation for research activity. Coherent professional project.

Metallurgist with sound knowledge in mechanics of materials. A very strong background in phase transformations is required. Comittment in experimental work and microstructural analysis is required. A very good practice (both understanding and expression) in French, both oral and written, is required for this particular project.
