National networks



MINES ParisTech, as its name reflects, is a founding member of the Paris Institute of Technology, shortened to ParisTech. Bringing together 11 of the best engineering schools in France, plus the best business school, located in Paris. Through ParisTech, MINES ParisTech has implemented numerous actions internationally, such as common admission for specific countries, common representation abroad...


The oldest " École des Mines" in France, MINES ParisTech forms with its 6 sister schools a group known as "Groupe des Écoles des Mines", shortened to GEM.


MINES ParisTech benefits from ParisTech's membership to CampusFrance. CampusFrance represents the French education system interests abroad.


International networds



Almost all ParisTech schools, including MINES ParisTech, take part in this European network running the ATHENS Programme. It enables students from the partner universities and schools to exchange twice a year (November and March) for one week. A student from Warsaw can follow a one-week course in MINES ParisTech, while a MINES ParisTech student goes for one week in Madrid, for instance. These one-week courses are credits bearing and recognised in the member insitutions under the ECTS scheme.

IDEA League

Through ParisTech, MINES ParisTech is a member of this excellence network composed of Imperial College (London), Delft TU, ETHZurich, RWTH Aachen (Germany) and ParisTech: IDEA League.


Throught ParisTech, MINES ParisTech is also a member of the Conference of European Schools for Advanced Engineering Education and Research, focusing on the quality of education in engineering.


MINES ParisTech has membership in the European Association for International Education.
