The topic will be : "Combining experiments, mean-field and full-field modelling to predict microstructure evolution during thermomechanical processing of Ni base superalloys".

Visiting Bureau of Meteorology, Australia, 1st August 15th December 2014

Scientific exchanges between Australian Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) and O.I.E. - MINES ParisTech

Benoît Gschwind, researcher at Centre for Observation, Impacts, Energy (O.I.E.) – MINES ParisTech, is a visiting scientist at Bureau of Meteorology (BOM), in Melbourne, VIC, Australia. His mission spans from 1st August to 15th December 2014.

His goals are : 

1) to validate the advanced McClear model predicting the solar irradiance received at ground level under clear skies developed by O.I.E. - MINES ParisTech, 

2) to transfer the model and knowledge to BOM.
