Golden medal in International Genetically Engineered Machine competition (IGEM)

Oleg Mikhajlov (P10), Baptiste Couly (P08), and their team IGEM "Paris Bettencourt 2011" became famous during the European final.

Their project, classified as one of the top three (out of 42) won the golden medal for the high level of realization. The team, finalist at the Boston MIT Jamboree (Massachusetts Institute of Technology), was classified in the 16 better worldwide.  

Their subject: a new mode of communication between bacteria, via nanotubes.
