Visiting students
Join the programme for an exchange period of one semester or one year

Eligibility
Applicants must:

Be enrolled in a partner institution (under an Erasmus agreement or any other exchange agreement); if your university is not listed among our partners, please approach your international office so that they can discuss with us on any cooperation possibility

Follow studies in science, engineering or technology

Be at least in their last year of undergraduate studies (BSc, BEng, BTech) or in graduate studies (= applicants must have completed at least 3 years of full-time higher education by the time they join the programme)

Intend to be enrolled in their home university for the following academic year
Application procedure
Please fill the
application form, and send it back with all required documents before 8
th May. Complete applications must
arrive by 8
th May. Scanned applications sent by e-mail are acceptable, provided they are sent as one .pdf file.
There is one deadline for any semester considered in the next academic year (Fall or Spring, or whole year).
Please note that courses from 1st and 2nd Graduate years only are open to Visiting students. Undergraduate year courses are not open to Visiting students.
A normal semester is worth 30 ECTS, a year 60 ECTS.
Admission process
The applications are reviewed in May and results are announced in late May or early June.
Applicants should not make any arrangement before having been notified of their admission by MINES ParisTech.
After admission is pronounced
Visiting students must make sure they reach a sufficient level of French before the courses start. MINES ParisTech can give contact details of French language schools in France, but no funding will be given for such courses.
They are expected to register at MINES ParisTech on the day indicated on their admission letter.
They will have to prove they are fully registered at their home university in order to be waived of tuition fees at MINES ParisTech, and for their stay to be valid.
